Bulletin Announcements:
  • Hymn of Response to the Benediction:
    Morning Service--

Now, blessed be the Lord our God, the God of Israel,
For he alone doth wondrous works in glory that excel.
And blessed be his glorious name to all eternity
The whole earth let his glory fill. Amen, so let it be. Amen.

  • Thanks to all who worked so hard on the Thank Offering Banquet. Special thanks to the young people of the church who cleaned up.
  • Beginning on Sunday, December 7, the Pastor will be holding a Membership Review Class for the Adult Class. This will also serve as an inquirer’s class for any and all who desire to become communicant members of Calvary Church. Young children, ages 12 and older, are welcome to joint the class provided they first ask the pastor or an elder for permission to do so.
  • Coming Soon: The congregational meeting, for passing the 2009 budget and electing church officers will be held on Wednesday, December 10, at 7 PM. If you have any men you would like to nominate for elder or deacon, or anyone to nominate for Trustee, see an elder.
  • There is a copy of the church directory on the back table. Please check your contact and family information for accuracy and make any necessary changes. Please do not remove the directory from the table.
  • There is also a list of Birthdays. Please check to see that your name and date are correct. The pastor’s calendar program has not been functioning correctly, and he hopes it is now corrected. So please be sure the information is correct.
  • The Pastor will be on vacation from November 24-December 8. During some of that time he will be visiting family members who are not converted. Please pray for the testimony of the Fox family.
  • During the pastor's vacation the pulpit will be filled by the Rev. Ted Georgian on November 30 and on December 7, the Rev. Donald Duff in the morning and the Rev. Richard MacLaren (Pastor of First OPC in Perkasie, Pa.) in the evening. Pray that God’s Word will be powerful in the preaching of these brothers.
  • On December 5, Olivia Fox will be undergoing surgery on her ankle. She will be home and bed bound for three weeks following that, and then in a boot for up to 12 weeks. Anita Wood is organizing meals. Please see her if you would like to provide dinner for the Fox family during the first three weeks. Please also pray for Pastor and his sons as they try to take care of Olivia and for patience as they attempt to do the work she cannot do around the house.
  • Helps for Worship by William Shishko–we have a limited number of these very useful booklets, just published by the Christian Education Committee, that teach about the parts of worship on the back table. Since they are limited in number, please only take one per family, and only if you will actually read it.
